Why should men be immersed in water? Here are a few reasons.
1. Why water baptism? Titus 3:5 ....He saved us, through the washing of regeneration...(NKJV)
2. Why water baptism? Mark 16:16....and is baptized will be saved...(NKJV)
3. Why water baptism? Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.(NKJV)
4. Why water baptism? Romans 6:4 .....even so we also should walk in newness of life.(NKJV)
5. Why water baptism? Romans 6:6...that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.(NKJV)
6. Why water baptism? Romans 6:7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.(NKJV)
7. Why water baptism? Acts 2:38 ....let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.(NKJV)
8. Why water baptism? Acts 8:35-39...and he went on his way rejoicing.(NKJV)
9. Why water baptism? 1 Peter 3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us, namely baptism....(NKJV)
10. Why water baptism? Ephesians 5:25-26 ...Christ also loved the church...26 that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.(NKJV)
11. Why water baptism? Ephesians 5:27 that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish.(NKJV)
12. Why water baptism? Acts 22:16 'And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.'(NKJV)
13. Why water baptism? Colossians 2:12-13...buried with Him in baptism....13.....having forgiven you all trespasses,(NKJV)
14: Why water baptism? John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.(NKJV)
15. Why water baptism? Acts 2:40-41..."Be saved from this perverse generation." 41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized......(NKJV)
