SMORGASBORD SALVATION? BY STEVE FINNELL
Does God offer salvation, buffet style, under the New Covenant? Are there various way to be saved?
The manifold ways men believe they can be saved.
1. Grace Alone Salvation: Meaning that God selects who will be saved and then forces them to believe that Jesus is the Christ.
2. Faith Only Salvation: Meaning all you have to do is believe in Jesus.
3. Universal Salvation: Meaning all men will be saved regardless of belief, or non-belief.
4. All Religions Salvation: Meaning all roads lead to God.
5. Sinner's Prayer Salvation: Meaning just say a form of a sinner's prayer and your sins will be forgiven.
6. Believe and Be Baptized: Meaning believe that Jesus is the Son of God, Lord, Savior, the Christ and was resurrected from the dead by God. And be baptized into Him for the forgiveness of sins.

DID GOD GIVE SALVATION BY SMORGASBORD?
Jesus did not give assorted versions of salvation under the New Covenant.
Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
Just one way to be saved. Believe and be baptized.
Acts 2:22-38 ...36 "There let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ......38 ...."Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Just one way to be saved. Believe and be baptized.
Acts 16:30-33 And he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" 31 So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.".....33......And immediately he and all his family were baptized.

Acts 8:35-38 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. 36 Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said. "See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?" 37 Then Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may.." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38.....And Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.

Acts 10:43-48 :To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.".......47 "Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?" 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord......

Acts 22:16 'And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.'

Acts 18:8 The Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his household. And many of the Corinthians , hearing, believed and were baptized.

THERE IS JUST ONE WAY TO BE SAVED UNDER THE NEW COVENANT. BELIEVE AND BE BAPTIZED.
Jesus never said you are saved by grace alone. (There is no Scripture that states that)
Jesus never said you can be saved by faith only. (There is no Scripture that says that)
Jesus never said that there would be universal salvation. (There is no Scriptures that states that.)
Jesus never said that non-Christians could say a sinner's prayer and be forgiven. (The Scriptures do not say that)
Jesus never said that there are various ways; and assorted prophets that can lead to the Father. (There is no Scripture that states that)
JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO THE FATHER AND HE ONLY GAVE US ONE WAY TO BE SAVED. HE THAT BELIEVES AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED!
