WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? by steve finnell

Did ever notice the big picture sometimes has a few flaws. The question that follows is, what is wrong with this picture?

Picture 1. Most Baptists believe you do not have to be baptized to enter into heaven, but you must be baptized to join the Baptist church. What is wrong with this picture?

Mark 16:16 ...and is baptized shall be saved...(NASB)

Picture 2. Most Catholics believe that praying to the false god, Baal, is worship, sinful and that Baal cannot answer prayers, however, most Catholics believe praying to the Virgin Mary is not worship, nor is it sinful, and that their prayers will be answered. What wrong with this picture?

Matthew 4:10 Then Jesus said to him, "Go Satan! For is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God , and serve Him only."(NASB)

Picture 3. Mormon's believe there are multiple gods, however, the claim they are Christians. Whats wrong with this picture?

1 Corinthians 8:6 yet for us, there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.(NASB)

Picture 4 Many theologians, preachers, and assorted Christians believe once you become a Christian you can continue in a sinful lifestyle, such as fornication, adultery, drunkenness, theft, homosexuality, murderer and still enter into the kingdom of God because once you are saved you can never be lost. What is wrong with this picture?

1 Corinthians 6:8-11...9..the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God.(NASB)

Picture 5 Many teach that all church creed books, books of new revelation, books written about God, denominational doctrines, and Bible commentaries are inspired by God. Whats wrong with this picture?

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God..(NASB)

If the picture is not clear, perhaps the picture should be looked at using the Bible and the Bible alone!
