HE THAT BELIEVES AND DENIES BAPTISM SHALL BE SAVED???  by steve finnell

The tradition of salvation by faith only versus the tradition of God.

Faith only tradition says men are saved by faith alone and that water baptism is not essential to salvation.

God's tradition says he that believes and is baptized shall be saved.

Scriptures for God's tradition.

Acts 2:36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God  has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. (NKJV)
Acts 2:37 ......"Men and brethren, what shall we do?" (NKJV)
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (NKJV)

HE THAT BELIEVES AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED.

Acts 9:4-5 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" And he said, Who are you Lord?" And the Lord said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads." (NKJV)
Acts 22:13-16.....16 'And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord. (NKJV)

HE THAT BELIEVES AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED.

Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. (NKJV)

HE THAT BELIEVES AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED.

Scriptures for man's tradition that state men can be saved by faith "only" and that water baptism is not essential for salvation.

1.
2.
3.
That is correct there are no Scriptures that support the traditions of men.
