HE WHO BELIEVES AND HAS BEEN IMMERSED SHALL BE SAVED!  by steve finnell

The gospel is not difficult to understand. The gospel of Jesus Christ is only confusing when men add their opinions.

Mark 16:16 He who has believed, and has been immersed, will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. (The Better Version of The New Testament by Chester Estes)

Mark 16:16 Whoever trusts and is immersed will be saved; whoever does trust will be condemned. (Complete Jewish Bible)

Mark 16:16 He who believes and is immersed shall be saved, but he who does not believe shall be condemned. (Tree of Life Version)

Mark 16:16 Anyone who believes this good news and is ceremonially washed will be rescued, but anyone who does not believe it will be condemned. (The Voice)

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (King James Version)

Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. (New American Standard Bible)

NOTE: There is no translation that translates Mark 16:16 He who believes and is sprinkled or poured will be saved.

The only question should be, believe what?

Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;(NASB)

Acts 8:26-39 36 ..... What prevent me from being baptized?" 37 [And Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."]...... (NASB)

The gospel is simple "Believe and be immersed in water."

There are no Scriptures that say, you do not have to be baptized in water in order to be saved.

There are no Scriptures that say, sprinkling and pouring are baptism.

There are no Scriptures that say non-believing infants have to be baptized to have Adam's sin forgiven. Sin is not inherited.

THE GOSPEL IS SIMPLE IF YOU TRUST THE BIBLE AND THE BIBLE ALONE FOR GOD'S TRUTH.
