NONEXISTENT SCRIPTURES    BY STEVE FINNELL


Many believers in Christ base their theological supposition on nonexistent Scriptures. Is it sound judgment to gamble your salvation on hypothetical reasoning based on extra-Biblical information?

NONEXISTENT SCRIPTURES

The purpose of water baptism is for a testament to the community. Not found in the Bible.

The purpose of water baptism is so men can join a denominational church of their choice. Not found in the Bible.

The purpose of water baptism is simply an act of obedience. Not found in the Bible.

Water baptism is not essential to have sins forgiven. Not found in the Bible.

Water baptism is something you do after your sins have been forgiven. Not found in the Bible.

The purpose of water baptism is so infants can be forgiven of sins they have never committed. Not found in the Bible.

The purpose of water baptism is so men can be forgiven of the sin of the first man, Adam. Not found in the Bible.

Infants do not have to confess that Jesus is the Son of God before they are baptized in water. Not found in the Bible. (Acts 8:37)

When the Scripture says repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins, it means spiritual baptism not water baptism.Not found in the Bible. (Acts 2:38)

When Ananias told Saul to get up and be baptized, and wash away his sins calling on the name of the Lord, Ananias was commanding Saul to be spiritually baptized and not to be baptized in water. Not found in the Bible. (Acts 22:16)

When the Scriptures say baptism now saves you, it does not mean water baptism nor does it mean water baptism is one of the terms for pardon. Not found in the Bible. (1 Peter 3:20-21)

Jesus was confused when He said those who believed and were baptized would be saved. Not found in the Bible. (Mark 16:16)

All men saved under the New Covenant have been preselected for salvation. Not found in the Bible.

All men that will be sent to hell under the New Covenant have been preselected by God to burn in hell. Not found in the Bible.

Men do not the the free-will to accept or reject Jesus as the Son of God. Not found in the Bible. 

All men under the New Covenant are saved by grace alone. --- Not found in the Bible.

All men saved under the New Covenant are saved by faith only. ---Not found in the Bible.

All men saved under the New Covenant are saved by repentanceonly. ---- Not found in the Bible.

All men saved under the New Covenant are saved by confessing Jesus as the Son of God only. ---- Not found in the Bible.

All men saved under the New Covenant are saved by water baptism only. ---- Not found in the Bible.

THE NEW COVENANT WAS IN FORCE BEFORE THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS. NOT FOUND IN THE BIBLE.

CAN NONEXISTENT SCRIPTURES SAVE ANYONE??????
